Clear terms for custom art.
These pre-launch terms explain portrait generation, Portrait Credits, digital delivery, personalized products, and what happens when something goes wrong. Mandatory consumer rights always take priority.
1. Who you are contracting with
ClassicPetArt is the trading name used by this service. The operator’s full legal name, company or personal identity number, postal address, and VAT details will appear here and in the durable order confirmation before live sales begin. Support is available at hello@classicpetart.com.
These terms are intended for consumers buying for personal use. If mandatory law where you live gives you stronger rights, those rights are not limited by these terms.
2. Photos, acceptable use, and AI generation
You may upload only a photo you own or are permitted to use. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing material. You grant ClassicPetArt and its contracted processors a limited permission to process the photo only to operate the service, create your portrait, provide support, fulfil an order, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.
Portraits are generated with AI. Results vary and may interpret pose, costume, background, fur, and small details. The free watermarked preview is the image offered for purchase; inspect it before ordering. A materially corrupted file, missing delivery, or product that materially differs from the purchased preview is treated as a possible defect, not ordinary artistic dissatisfaction.
3. Portrait Credits
Signed-in customers currently receive three daily Portrait Credits. Purchased credits are used only after daily credits, do not expire under the current product rules, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Reordering an existing portrait does not consume another credit.
Selecting Create requests immediate generation. One credit is consumed when billable generation begins. If generation fails or the portrait cannot be saved, the system returns the reserved credit. A consumed credit is not refunded solely because you change your mind or dislike a non-defective artistic detail. This does not limit a remedy where the generation service is defective or not delivered, or any mandatory right applying to unused purchased credits.
4. Prices, payment, and order formation
The product page and checkout show the main characteristics and price in euros. Shipping and applicable tax are shown before payment when relevant. An order becomes binding only when Stripe accepts payment and ClassicPetArt sends or makes available an order confirmation. We may reject or refund an order we cannot lawfully or technically fulfil.
Checkout requires you to accept the current terms and the notice appropriate to digital delivery or a personalized physical product. The order stores the terms version and acceptance time. Please save the order confirmation for your records.
5. Personalized digital portraits
The digital product is a personalized, watermark-free, high-resolution portrait supplied through a private expiring download link. The product page identifies its format and dimensions. You may renew an expired link after access to the paid order is verified.
If you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge the consequence at checkout, supply may begin before a statutory withdrawal period ends. Once download access to the digital content begins, an applicable change-of-mind withdrawal right may end. This does not remove rights where the digital content is defective, materially different from the order, or not supplied.
6. Personalized physical products
Printed products are made to order from your selected portrait. The usual change-of-mind withdrawal right may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized. You may request cancellation before production is confirmed, but cancellation cannot be promised once the fulfilment partner begins production.
Delivery, supported countries, and damage handling are described in Shipping & Returns. A personalized-goods exception never removes your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, wrong, materially different from what was ordered, or not delivered.
7. Defects, remakes, replacements, and refunds
Contact hello@classicpetart.com with the order number and a clear description of the problem. For a defective digital file or failed delivery, we may restore delivery, correct the file, remake the portrait where appropriate, reduce the price, or refund it as required by law. For a faulty physical item, we may repair or replace it without cost, reduce the price, or refund it where repair or replacement is unavailable or unreasonable.
Evidence such as a photograph of shipping damage may be requested when reasonably necessary. We do not require return of a defective item unless we provide appropriate instructions and cover costs that the trader must bear. Nothing here shortens a statutory complaint or legal-guarantee period.
8. Artwork use
You keep your rights in the source photo. To the extent transferable rights exist in the delivered portrait, ClassicPetArt grants you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to keep, display, share, and print it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell the digital file, offer merchandise, claim endorsement, use it as a trademark, remove provenance or safety markings embedded by a model provider, or use it unlawfully.
AI-generated material may not qualify for the same copyright protection in every country. These terms do not promise exclusive rights that applicable law does not recognise.
9. Accounts, privacy, and service availability
Account and photo handling is described in the Privacy Notice. Keep sign-in and download links secure. We may suspend abusive activity or content that creates legal, security, or provider risk.
We may maintain, improve, or discontinue free features and daily-credit allowances. A change will not remove paid credits already recorded or rights attached to an existing paid order except where required by law or necessary to prevent fraud or harm.
10. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first at hello@classicpetart.com so we can investigate. If the operator is established in Sweden and a dispute cannot be resolved, an eligible consumer may ask Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN) to review it. Court access and mandatory consumer protections remain available.
The final governing-law, operator identity, complaint address, and dispute-resolution wording require legal approval before live sales. No draft sentence overrides the mandatory law of the country where an EU consumer habitually resides.
